Please take notice that, I, James F. Valley, Mayor of the City of Helena-West Helena, have called a special city council meeting for Thursday, June 24, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. to be held at 226 Perry Street in the City Council Chambers for the purpose of addressing the following matters only:
1. Resolution on Boys & Girls Club Grant Application for Air Condition in Gymnasium;
2. Resolution on Animal Shelter – Application for Funding (nothing to do with location or length of stay for animals – those matters will be addressed separately)
3. Resolutions from East Arkansas Planning and Development District Regarding --- Fairly Standard but Necessary Resolutions;
4. Presentation of Proposed Land Use Maps to City Council Members – no action necessary
